Pachira aquatica
Money Tree
Money Trees are easy-care, long-living plants that symbolize longevity and prosperity. These beautiful foliage plants feature 5 leaflets, symbolic of the 5 elements of Feng Shui (wood, water, fire, earth & metal) and are available in both braided and stump forms. Plants with braided trunks symbolize interconnectedness and are said to “trap” good fortune. 3 braided stems symbolize new beginnings and 5 braided stems again symbolize the 5 elements of Feng Shui.

Dracaena sanderiana
Lucky Bamboo
Actually a member of the Dracaena family, Lucky Bamboo got it’s name due to its close resemblance to Chinese Bamboo. In the art of feng shui, this easy-care, minimalist plant symbolizes the wish for a life filled with strength and prosperity. Lucky Bamboo can be grown in soil, but is most commonly found growing in vases of water. We recommend filling the base of the container with pebbles to prevent the container from tipping over. It’s also best to use filtered or distilled water, refreshed weekly, for these plants as they can be sensitive to the chlorine found in tap water.

Ficus microcarpa
Ginseng Ficus
This lovely member of the Ficus family is named for its knobby root system that resembles ginseng. Its natural Bonsai-like form brings positive energy with bright green color and rounded foliage. While it’s a fantastic plant to treat yourself with, it’s said that the luck of the Ginseng Ficus doubles when given as a gift! This resilient grower symbolizes strength and longevity. Bonus? It’s also an excellent air-purifier!

Sansevieria spp.
Snake Plant
According to feng shui, Sansevieria are a protective plant. Their sword-like foliage is said to protect against negative energy. Which is why they’re often placed inside the home or office, right by the entryway. Truly one of the easiest houseplants to care for, Snake Plants grow well in just about any type of light (low to bright indirect) and they require very little watering maintenance.

Crassula ovata
Jade Plant
Commonly called “Money Plant”, Jade is a member of the Crassula family. This true succulent grows best in well-drained soil, such as a Cactus mix, and in rooms with bright light. If it’s getting too much light, the edges of its leaves may turn red. No need to worry, though, moving it to an area with slightly less sunlight should help the foliage return to its normal, lucky, green color. Jade is thought to bring good fortune, due to its miniature tree-like appearance reinforcing its connection to economic prosperity.
