About the Peace Lily

One of the few low light plants that produces a white spathe flower over a bushy mound of glossy, green foliage. Flowers typically last for a month, and may be scented. Peace Lilies are used in offices and homes as floor plants or on side tables. They are excellent air purifiers, and combine well with other shade tolerant annuals and tropical plants, especially in gift and holiday planters. Care Notes

Grow in medium to low, indirect lighting 8-10’ from windows, middle of a dim room, or in low fluorescent lighting. Prefers average household temperatures, 60°-70°F. Keep soil evenly moist to slightly dry. Supply extra humidity by setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with Osmocote or Miracle-Gro April-September. Pull to remove spent flower stalks instead of cutting them, new flowers will form faster.
