Angelo’s Farm Market herbs are specifically selected for home growers to be productive, disease resistant, and flavorful. Look for classic ‘Spearmint’, sweet ‘Pineapple’ and ‘Chocolate’, dwarf ‘Corsican’, and productive ‘Mint Julep’. ‘Peppermint’ is also available in our mosquito repellent herbs. These invasive perennials are best grown in containers on the porch or patio. Use fresh or dried with fruit, desserts and teas. Easy to grow and deters ants, aphids, flea beetles, squash bugs, mice, and deer.

Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient rich soil or containers amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, Osmocote® or Garden-tone®. Follow label instructions. Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature. Harvest 1/3 of the new, tender foliage in the morning. Dry or freeze extra for future use.
