Angelo’s Farm Market veggies are specifically selected for home growers to be productive, disease resistant, and flavorful. Look for ‘Early Flat Dutch’, a multipurpose, green cabbage that likes to grow in tight spaces, the crinkled, award winning ‘Savoy King’, and colorful ‘Red Jewel’. You will have plenty of cabbage for coleslaw, sour kraut, and to store for later.

Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient rich soil or containers amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, Osmocote® or Garden-tone®. Follow label instructions. Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
