About the Super Hot Pepper

Angelo’s Farm Market veggies are specifically selected for home growers to be productive, disease resistant, and flavorful. Look for a few scorching SUPER hot peppers like ‘Trinidad Scorpion’, ‘Carolina Reaper’, and the popular Ghost Pepper starting the season slowly, but forming good yields of 2-3″ long, wrinkled, thin walled, pointed peppers that ripen to a deep red. They are rated at the top of the Scoville Heat Unit (SHU)scale over 1 million units! As with all hot peppers, please use EXTREME CAUTION when handling and eating them. These SUPER hot peppers can be used fresh or dried in tremendously hot sauces and extremely spicy dishes.


Care Notes

Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient rich soil or containers amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, Osmocote® or Garden-tone®. Follow label instructions. Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
