About the Primrose

These large flowering polyanthus primrose, up to 3″ wide in an assortment of cheerful colors, pink, blue, yellow, red and white with a bright yellow contrasting eye. Care Notes

Plant in moist, cool, nutrient rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water, once a week the first year. Use Plant-tone and Iron-tone in spring or at planting; apply Osmocote in summer. Deadhead spent flower clusters down to lateral buds. Mulch 1-2” to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring after flowering.
