About the Pothos

A small family of tropical foliage plants that are very similar to Philodendron in that they are easy to care for, make excellent air purifiers, and grow best trailing from hanging baskets and pots in less than ideal environments. A. k. a. Pothos or Devil’s Ivy, its most popular varieties have heart shaped foliage, mottled with white or yellow, and can grow 6 feet long or longer. Care Notes

Grow in medium to low, indirect lighting 8-10’ from windows, middle of a dim room, or in low fluorescent lighting. Prefers average household temperatures, 60°-70°F. Keep soil evenly moist to slightly dry. Supply extra humidity by setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with Osmocote or Miracle-Gro April-September.
