About the Oakleaf Hydrangea
This broad, rounded, deciduous shrub is covered with handsome, deeply lobed, large oak-like foliage that turn a spectacular bronze, crimson and burgundy in the fall. Clusters of creamy white panicle flowers put on a delightful display in late spring into summer. Best shade tolerant Hydrangea, they are superb in a wooded landscape, in large containers, or as a cut flower.
