About the Florist Cyclamen

This gorgeous houseplant/annual is easy to grow in fall through spring indoors appreciating cooler temperatures (55-65 degrees F) and tolerating low winter light levels. The flowers are forced from a tuber producing unique nodding blooms with upturned petals in an array of purple, pink and red shades. The green and silver variegated foliage adds to the plants attraction. Some cyclamen are very fragrant too. View our online selection of Cyclamen available now.

Care Notes

Place in a cool northern or eastern window where it can receive bright, indirect light, but not heat. When watering, keep the plant’s soil on the dry side. It will wilt slightly when it’s ready, but will perk back up after the soil is moistened. Bottom watering is recommended. Fertilize with Osmocote. Deadhead spent flowers by gently pulling the stalk from the bulb instead of cutting.
