About the Carrots ‘Nantindo’
Angelo’s Farm Market veggies are specifically selected for home growers to be productive, disease resistant, and flavorful. Look for ‘Nantindo’, a high quality Nantes hybrid carrot that produces 6-8″ long, cylindrical, deep orange roots with a blunt end. This variety is amazing for home growers because their sweet, juicy flavor is fantastic, and is rarely available in the grocery store. ‘Nantindo’ is a great cold crop, no peeling is necessary, tolerant of tough growing conditions, and stores well in the frig. Use fresh, steamed, boiled or in soups and stews. Excellent source of fiber, calcium and vitamin A. Maturity: 75 days
