About the Bonsai

The Japanese art form of growing and creating a miniature tree in a pot that mimics the shape and scale of a full size tree. Many different types of plants are used to create Bonsai including Juniper, Ficus, and Chinese Elm. Techniques such as pinching buds, pruning and wiring branches are used to limit and redirect plant growth. Bonsai may symbolize harmony, peace, order of thoughts, balance and all that is good in nature. Each variety of bonsai signifies something different, making these beautiful and artistic trees wonderful gifts for friends and family. Shop Bonsai varieties available now.
