About the Black-Eyed Susan

Vigorous, productive and reliable, Black-eyed Susans are easily identified in the garden with their golden yellow petals surrounding a deep black eye. They are long blooming, great butterfly attractants, cut well, and provide winter interest. ‘Goldsturm’ was voted Perennial Plant of the Year in 1999, and several new, improved varieties have been developed.
