About the Woolly Thyme

This fuzzy, soft silver to dense grey groundcover is perfect for a toe tickling groundcover planted in between paving stones or over rock walls. Very compact and dense habit producing small rose colored flowers in late spring. A great addition to an herb garden or rock garden.


Care Notes

Plant in well-drained, nutrient rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water, once a week the first year. Use Plant-tone and Iron-tone in spring or at planting; apply Osmocote in summer. Mulch 1-2” to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring when necessary.
