Laurentia (Isotoma) fluviatilis

star creeper

About the Star Creeper

A fantastic groundcover that forms dense mats of soft, tiny green leaves on which hundreds of small, light to deep blue or white, star shaped flowers bloom and continue to repeat throughout the entire growing season. Excellent toe tickling plant for in between paving stones or rock gardens.

Care Notes

Plant in well-drained, nutrient rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water, once a week the first year. Use Plant-tone and Iron-tone in spring or at planting; apply Osmocote in summer. Mulch 1-2” to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring or fall when necessary.
