About the Money Tree
Affectionately referred to as ‘Money Tree’, this popular houseplant is said to bring good luck and prosperity to anyone who possesses it. Native to South America, Pachira aquatica grows best in average household temperatures with a little extra humidity to mimic its natural tropical environment. These lucky houseplants prefer bright to medium indirect light but should be kept a few feet away from sunny windows, as their foliage can be sensitive to direct light. Money Trees are typically available in braided and stump forms. New branches can be easily braided together for aesthetic purposes once they reach 14″ in length.
Considered non-toxic, dog & cat friendly plant according to ASPCA.org.
