Did you know you can change the color of Bigleaf (macrophylla) and Mountain (serrata) hydrangeas? It all starts with knowing what your soil pH is! Watch this video with Noelle, Horticulturist, and Education Manager with Petitti Garden Centers, to learn more about soil pH and how it affects the color of your hydrangeas. Remember, it's important to continue to feed your hydrangeas in addition to applying products to change the pH level of your soil. We recommend using Espoma Organic Holly-tone® to fertilize blue hydrangeas and Plant-tone® to fertilize pink hydrangeas.
