Video Recap
It’s early March and time to start waking up the garden! Cutting back ornamental grasses should be at the top of your to-do list this time of year. Watch this video with Noelle, Horticulturist and Education Director with Petitti Garden Centers, to learn more about how to properly cut back ornamental grasses to ensure success year after year. One great thing to remember is tying them back in the fall, this will make the job much easer come spring time! It helps keep them upright all winter long and helps maintain the mess in the spring. When cutting, try to trim as close to the base of the plant as possible to ensure there is plenty of room for new growth to flourish!
