Some of the easiest houseplants to take care of come from the Philodendron family. Not only are they easy to grow, they are also one of the best air-purifying plants you can have in your home or office! There are numerous varieties of Philodendron, including the vining Micans and Heart Leaf Philodendron, the colorful Imperial Red and Prince of Orange & the standard Large Leaf Salome. Contrary to popular belief, Monstera aren’t actually Philodendron, but they do require similar care. One of the greatest things about Philodendron is they aren’t picky about their light requirements. They prefer medium, in-direct lighting but they will tolerate low-light environments, making them great for less sunny spots in your home and in the office!
