It has been a beautifully mild Fall so far this year in Northeast Ohio! Noelle filled in for Angelo this week and talked about late fall garden tasks to accomplish while the weather is still good, cleaning up vegetable beds, planting fall (spring-blooming) bulbs, and planting trees and shrubs. She also shared advice for lifting and storing tender bulbs like dahlias and cannas, mentioning it’s best to tackle this gardening task when the foliage starts to die back. PLUS she answers callers’ questions like “Do Weigela bloom on old wood”, and “Can I plant my fall bulbs in a pot”?
