About the Ornamental Pepper ‘Assorted’

Compact, showy pepper plants with varying foliage colors from green to purple to variegated producing small, colorful ornamental chili peppers of different shapes (globe, cone, horn, bell) and colors (red, orange, yellow, purple) growing 8 to 20 inches tall. Great summer and fall accent in containers or the landscape. Ornamental Peppers in general can be very spicy and pungent; please handle with care. Browse ornamental pepper varieties available now.

Care Notes

Grow in sunny areas, well-drained, amended soil or containers. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, Osmocote® or Plant-tone®. Follow label instructions. Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature. Bring indoors after one or two fall frosts and grow on a sunny windowsill.
