About the Japanese Forest Grass
A brilliant, golden yellow ornamental grass that resembles a low growing, cascading bamboo! ‘All Gold’ is slightly more upright and vigorous than its cousin ‘Aureola’ but its clump forming, graceful mounds of foliage are a pure gold to chartreuse, able to brighten any shade garden! Hakonechloa grasses make excellent spillers in containers, Asian or Zen garden accents, or highlight woodland areas combined with ferns, Coral bells, and Astilbe.
