Solidago canadensis

goldenrod

About the Goldenrod

Bushy and attractive golden yellow panicles emerge on compact, sturdy stems that are much easier to fit in the perennial border than the 6′ tall, native goldenrod. Excellent source of late summer and fall color, and an excellent pollinator attractant. Note: Goldenrod does not cause hay fever; unfortunately it is gets confused with ragweed.
