About the Snow on the Mountain ‘Variegatum’

Attractive, but aggressive variegated groundcover with pleasant, sage green foliage highlighted with creamy-white margins. Flowers resemble a smaller and shorter version of Queen Anne’s lace in late spring. Best used in Part_Shadeunder trees or in areas where a groundcover needs to be established quickly.


Care Notes

Plant in dry to moist, nutrient poor or rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water, once a week the first year. Use Plant-tone and Iron-tone in spring or at planting; apply Osmocote in summer. Shear or mow to rejuvenate. Mulch 1-2” to suppress weeds. Divide in spring or fall when necessary. Plant in containers to reduce spreading, aggressive grower.
