Campanula spp.

About the Bellflower

They are numerous types of bell flowers, from tall, cut flower types to prostrate ground covers like ‘Blue Waterfall’. Typically periwinkle blue or white, the cup/bell-like flowers look gorgeous at the edges of flower beds, in the middle garden border, or in patio containers. Long summer bloomers that repeat bloom if cut back and fertilized.

Care Notes

Plant in well-drained, nutrient rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water, once a week the first year. Use Plant-tone and Iron-tone in spring or at planting; apply Osmocote in summer after cutting back to encourage reblooming. Mulch 1-2” to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture.
