This tropical houseplant possesses glossy, deep green foliage that forms profuse, but small umbrellas of 7 to 9 leaflets held above the entire plant. Grow in bright indirect lighting from an eastern or northern exposure window, or under fluorescent lighting. Prefers average to warm household temperatures, 65°-80°F. Keep soil evenly moist to slightly dry. Supply extra humidity by setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with Osmocote or Miracle-Gro April-September. Prune to keep a tidy habit any time.
