About the Croton

This tropical foliage houseplant related to the Euphorbia family is recognized for its exotic, multicolored foliage in shades of red, orange, yellow, and green. Producing an upright, bushy form covered in large oval to long and wavy leaves. This is an excellent floor plant in a bright home or office, and bold foliage interest in part shade, mixed annual planters. Shop Croton varieties available now.


Care Notes

Grow in bright to medium, indirect lighting from an eastern or northern exposure window, or under fluorescent lighting. Prefers average to warm household temperatures, 60°-75°F. Keep soil evenly moist to slightly dry. Supply extra humidity by setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with Osmocote or Miracle-Gro April-September.
