About the Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus is an attractive, aromatic, annual fragrance herb that possesses petite, round, silvery-blue leaves that appear to be strung upon upright, slightly arching stems. Eucalyptus makes an excellent, easy maintenance “filler” plant in the cutting garden or containers, and also in fresh or dried floral arrangements. It can be brought indoors for the winter as a houseplant too! Part of the Angelo’s Farm Market herbs collection that were specifically selected for home growers to be productive, disease resistant, and flavorful.

Care Notes

Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient rich soil or containers amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, Osmocote® or Garden-tone®. Follow label instructions. Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature. Pinch leggy stems back for fuller, more productive growth
