Delicate, cool weather annuals that produce unique, petite snapdragon-like blooms in pastel colors of soft blue, lavender, pink, silver and white to hot, tropical oranges, reds and yellows. Some varieties are sweetly scented, and have been improved to bloom longer into the summer with more heat tolerance. Best in part-shade containers and hanging baskets as a soft textured “filler/spiller”.

Grow in cool sunny to part shade areas, well-drained, evenly moist amended soil or containers. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, Osmocote® or Plant-tone®. Follow label instructions. No deadheading needed, but may need to trim back in the heat of the summer. Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
