Houseplants are becoming increasingly popular for home and office spaces amongst long-time plant enthusiasts and new gardeners alike. With hundreds of options to choose from, we selected a few easy options that anyone is sure to love! Watch this video with Noelle, Horticulturist and Education Director with Petitti Garden Centers, to learn about 4 easy-to-care-for houseplants that you can get started with today. For rooms that have an abundance of light, we recommend easy plants like Aloe or Burrows Tail Sedum. For areas that have less natural light available, we recommend ZZ Plants and anything in the Philodendron family. Remember that most houseplants require less hands-on love during the winter months. So enjoy looking at your plants, talking about your plants, and providing proper light – but water less, skip the fertilizer, and hold off on re-potting until mid-March. Your plants will appreciate you for it!
